The Hardest Season of My Life

I don't talk about this much, but there was a season where everything I'd built felt like it was falling apart. Deals fell through. Bills piled up. The voice in my head kept saying, "Maybe you're not cut out for this."

If you've ever sat in your car in a parking lot, afraid to go home and face the numbers — you know what I mean. Fear has a way of making the future feel impossible.

Fear Tells You to Quit. Faith Tells You to Wait.

Here's what I learned in that season: fear and faith sound the same in the moment. Both say, "Something has to change." But fear says change by quitting. Faith says change by trusting the process and doing the work anyway.

I didn't get a miraculous overnight breakthrough. I got up the next morning and did the next right thing. Made the next call. Showed up for the next client. Not because I felt like it — because I believed God wasn't done with me yet.

The Breakthrough Was Already Coming
